No March 2020 Meeting
On August 29, 2020, Churchill Downs Community Association will have our annual Fall clean-up.
This is a great opportunity to clean out your garage or basement of unwanted stuff. This years event will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Wainright school starting at 9am and ending at 12 noon, or until the trucks have filled. This is a fantastic day to clean out and meet-up with your neighbors at this year’s, free neighborhood clean-up.
On May 5th we will helped over 50 of our neighborhood kids repair their bicycles for safer use in our community.
This is a free event for the children in our neighborhood.
Sponsored by CDCA, residents will have a place to dispose of items from your yard, home and garage. This years dumpster will be at the Wainright School, May 5th.
The dumpster will be brought to the Wainwright elementary school parking lot. The dumpster will be available for the residents of the
Churchill Downs Community Association. No flammables, tires, etc.
The Churchill Downs Community Association has planted flowers in the planters located by the signs that stand at the entryways to our neighborhood. On Saturday, May 18, 2019, Volunteers again will be working together, in order to plant some lovely flowers at our Churchill Downs permanent entryway signs. Thank you ladies, for helping to make our neighborhood entry's look more inviting.
Congratulations to the 5 winners of this years Christmas light contest.
Churchill Downs Community Association neighbors enjoying a great baseball game vs. the TinCaps. Thank you to Mayor Schor for the use of Suite. The three oldest kids even got to participate in the 3-legged big underwear race. Bug Lug stopped for autographs and photo ops with everyone.
Thanks to: Glo, Judy, Mike Sr., Ernest, Sherry, Greg, Sharon, Beth, Mike Jr., Weather, Maddoc, Layne, Daphne and Nolan for attending.
